I’m not sure if it’s the change of scenery, no cell service or the slower pace, but my weekend spent in Colorado with family is just what the doctor ordered.
1. You get a lot more attention
Fact: People are obsessed with Corgis. Somehow we ended up in this trendy subculture which neither Matt and I knew we became a part of. We are not trend-setters, we rarely do cool things. But owning a Corgi has seemed to change our status.
I think I was a little naive dabbling in the freelancing world, and to be honest, still am. A handshake only goes so far and your work, no matter how much time you spent on it or how big the project was, is still valuable and still your work.
