As we gear up for fall, now’s the perfect time to ensure our horses are ready for the season ahead.
As someone who’s been on the rehab and now preventative care side of the fence, I’m excited to share with you a brand of ice boots for horses (and stifle, back and hock!) that can assist both goals: Ice Horse.
If you’re considering buying some property or if you’re thinking about adding some ponies to your pasture — I’ve found there are some things you should consider, so instead of oversharing and going into detail of every single one of hypochondriac horse owner stories, I’ll share the list of pros and cons to boarding your horses in your backyard!
I always take more away from my lessons with Lanny than just horsemanship.
When I bought this horse last April I had dreams, but no goals.
Brian Knapp said, “There is a difference between a dream and a goal. A dream is a gift you want to be given. A goal is something you work to achieve.”
A goal is something you work at. So what am I working for?
To supplement or not to supplement, that is the question.
There’s a supplement for just about everything — oils, powders and pellets for every benefit or ailment under the sun. if you can think of it, it’s probably out there.
All any rider wants is for our equine partners to look and feel their best — why is it so hard to not be overwhelmed by all the choices and the stigma? While not everyone is a fan of supplements, I am pro-supplement. Of course, with my veterinarian’s guidance.
After a year of living in our first house, we’ve really started to hone in on our style. Matt and I together definitely are a weird combo of minimal/modern/traditional/rustic styles. We’ve accomplished displaying this blend by this by mixing leather and natural elements with some pops of color and nods to the cattle and horse worlds. Being a horse girl, there’s never enough horse decor so I’ve “rounded-up” (for lack of better words, feel free to click off this page now, ha) some decor items I’ve found and am loving.
I’d totally have all of these in my home.
This idea came to me driving home from the barn (of course). I hadn’t seen one of these yet and I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.
Any guesses on what I am?
