Things have changed a lot since I was a 14-year-old horse girl. Now I’m a horse girl making adult horse girl money and of course — spending it.
If you haven’t noticed the horse market, the trailer market, the hay market is nuts, so I get wanting to save a few bucks here or there. So here’s what I propose, I try, so you can buy. Deal?
So, on this episode of what’s in my — a novice, Non-Pro, adult ammy — whatever your discipline wants to call me’s — tack room: support boots.

Support boots are nothing new to the horse world their main purpose is to support (clever, huh?). While supportive/orthopedic/sports medicine boots are not a foolproof way to ensure your horse’s soundness, they do significantly decrease your horse's chances of developing suspensory-related injuries while performing.

When I bought this horse last April I had dreams, but no goals.
Brian Knapp said, “There is a difference between a dream and a goal. A dream is a gift you want to be given. A goal is something you work to achieve.”
A goal is something you work at. So what am I working for?
After a year of living in our first house, we’ve really started to hone in on our style. Matt and I together definitely are a weird combo of minimal/modern/traditional/rustic styles. We’ve accomplished displaying this blend by this by mixing leather and natural elements with some pops of color and nods to the cattle and horse worlds. Being a horse girl, there’s never enough horse decor so I’ve “rounded-up” (for lack of better words, feel free to click off this page now, ha) some decor items I’ve found and am loving.
I’d totally have all of these in my home.
Since I officially started freelancing at the end of November 2019, I know this post is a little late! But ya know, I’ve just have been dealing with a global pandemic and what not! This post is actually great for me both personally and professionally, as it holds me accountable and gives me room to review and improve.
This idea came to me driving home from the barn (of course). I hadn’t seen one of these yet and I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.

Hi, I’m Caroline and I have spent most of my horse “career” being a skeptic of equine supplements — I didn’t start using them until college when my gelding, Jack, dropped a ton of weight. Since then, I’ve gone back and forth supplementing different things for different needs, comparing different brands and completely going off recommendations from vets and industry professionals.
